John.....
just a quickie note to tell you that I have put together a packet of "great pictures" of the Band during the period of 1963-1966. I am trying to pin-point the exact years on them.... the quality is excellent. You will enjoy them as I hope the people on the web will enjoy them as well. I was so pleased to see the info on Dan Corsello...I remember him vividly and his excellent trumpet playing. I certainly miss seeing all the fine people we had. We did get together in 1988 and marched in the Pottery Festival Parade and it was fun. I am enclosing a few pictures from that event as well. Thank you for all your work in putting together this excellent web-site. We moved here to Swarthmore, PA in June after 34 years in Huntingdon Valley, PA (a northern suburb of Philadelphia). Swarthmore is off the SW corner of the city in Delaware County near International Airport. Swarthmore College is within walking distance and the college is rated the #1 Liberal Arts College in the Country along with Amherst (a tie). I played a concert (on clarinet) with the Warminster Symphony Orchestra this past Saturday Nite and another concert with the Delaware County Symphony Orchestra the previous Sunday. So, I do keep busy musically...having retired from active music education in 1993. Would love to hear from some of the Band Members...we do keep in close touch with Nancy Hanselman and Hal/Carla Ball. My Best to you............Vince Maola

The idea for this page & its links were
born from references that JerryHillyer, Danny Corsello, Jim MacPherson
& others of you have made. Although the design is mine, this page would
not have come to fruition without Mr. Maola "lending" us pictures from
his personal collection. . . . what a guy !!!!
If you
have any pictures you would like to add,
If you would like a copy of any of the pictures which are posted, please contact me. The cost will be whatever it costs me to have the picture copied + postage. John |
Please check back from time to time. Mr Maola sent me a "ton" of
pictures.
As I time permits, I will scan & post them.
